Community Services Committee Meeting

That the Community Services Committee recommend to City Council: That based on Correspondence CS-22-01, concerning the Speeding on Farewell Street between Taylor Avenue and Olive Avenue, the current speed of 50km/h on Farewell Street be reduced to 40 km/h.

That the Community Services Committee recommend to City Council: That Correspondence CS-22-02, concerning Scouts Canada Requesting to enter into Negotiations for a new Long Term Agreement be

That the Report CS-22-04, from the Oshawa Animal Care Advisory Committee be endorsed: Safe Pet Program (OACAC-21-58) That Referral OACAC-21-58 concerning a Safe Pet Program be received for information.

That the Community Services Committee recommend to City Council: That based on Report CS-22-03, dated January 12, 2022, Traffic and Parking By-law 79-99, as amended, be further amended to implement the revisions outlined in Section 5.8.1 ‘By-law Amendment 1’ of this report; and, That based on Report CS-22-03, dated January 12, 2022, Traffic and Parking By-law 79-99, as amended, be further amended to implement the revisions outlined in Section 5.8.2 ‘By-law Amendment 2’ of this report except that where there are three (3) hour parking limits in place, that a vehicle with an accessibility permit be given a four (4) hour parking limit; and, That a copy of Report CS-22-03, dated January 12, 2022, be sent to the Oshawa Accessibility Advisory Committee.

That the motion be amended to add the words "social services" before the words "existing unmarked graves" in the final paragraph

That the words "and shinny hockey" be added after lighting.
